Catalyst Contemporary presents "Manifest Presence," a group exhibition of contemporary figurative paintings. The works depict evocative characters that emerge from each artists' personal mythology in the pantheon of collective dreams. With pressing vogue topics like immigration, gay identity, women's reproductive sovereignty, black identity and speaking truth to power, the actors in these paintings speak to various moments of resilience, love, acceptance, humor, and hope.
